Your UPF Account/Profile

To use any of the services under this Agreement, you must create an account. You are solely responsible for maintaining, securing, updating, and keeping strictly confidential all login IDs and passwords, and for all access to and use of your UPF Account.

You must provide current, complete and accurate information about you with respect to your Account Information or Profile. The type of information you are required to provide may change and you must provide such information and keep your Account information current. It is vital that you check/review the accuracy of ALL your information especially your NAME, EMAIL ADDRESS, BIRTHDATE as these fields are not editable once you save your account. Police Station has no access and authority to edit your account information/profile.

Providing false information may constitute a crime and this may lead to prosecution as stipulated in the Laws of Uganda.

Not providing requested information may prevent you from securing any of our services such as application of Certificates of Good Conduct or Police Clearance.

Forfeiture of Payment and Cancellation of Transaction

Failure to pay your Application fees within two working days means cancellation of your transaction.

In the event that you cancel your transaction, and/or failed to honor the appointment date set for the purpose of either processing and/or claiming of your Certificate, your payment will be forfeited.

Inaccurate personal information on the printed Certificate means erroneous entry by you on your provided data during the creation of your UPF Account and/or application for Certificates of Good Conduct or Police Clearance. UPF will not re-print your Certificate. For your Certificate to bear the accurate data, you may correct/update your account and re-apply for a Certificate.

This means that you will undergo the process of application – setting of appointment, payment, and capturing of biometrics with the Uganda Police.

Certificate Printout

All Hit records of the applicant as found in the Uganda Police Crime Databases will be reflected in the clearance printout with the corresponding status of such Hit records.

Validity of Certificates

The Certificates of Good Conduct or Police Clearance issued will be valid for six (6) months.

Valid IDs in Applying for Certificates of Good Conduct or Police Clearance

On the day of your appointment, proceed to the Uganda Police INTERPOL and International Relations and you will be required to present Your valid Identification documents; (Passport/National Identity i.e. for Uganda Nationals )

Documents must:
⇒ Not be expired,
⇒ Original and not photocopied
⇒ Be with clear photo and signature of the applicant
⇒ Bear full name

Listed below are the documents to be presented:
✔ Copies of Valid Identification Documents(Passport or National ID). Note National ID is Mandatory for Ugandans.
✔ Two Passport Sized Photographs
✔ Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) Payment receipt auto generated and printed from the system
✔ Refugees must apply through the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM) and will be subjected to an INTERPOL Interview prior to processing their applications.
✔ Refugees must possess valid Refugee Card from the Office of the Prime Minister
✔ Forwarding letter from the Office of the Prime Minister for Refugees.
✔ A preview of your application details printed from the system
